Behind these creations is a journey that brought me back home, and I am honored to share a piece of that story with you.

Our Story 


I have always dreamed of taking my crafting to the next level. After spending over a decade on the front lines of the medical field, the aftermath of COVID-19 changed everything.

When it came time to return to work, life called me in a different direction. My parents required around-the-clock care, meaning my place had to be at home. Stepping into the role of a full-time, unpaid caregiver meant completely exhausting my personal savings, but it also crystallized what truly matters. 

Being home allowed me to fulfill a promise to my ultimate craft room partner and sweetest inspiration, my pet, Egypt. I used to look at her while fussy-cutting papers or sorting them for decoupage and layered art projects and say, 'One day, I will work from home, and we will craft all the time.' Though Egypt lost her brave battle with cancer and is no longer by my side, her spirit remains the heartbeat of my studio.

Today, turning that dream into reality is more than just a creative outlet; it is a vital path forward. Building this next chapter through my handmade stationery, decoupage keepsakes, layered junk journals, and adornments is the most rewarding way to honor Egypt's memory, support my family, and share my heart with the world.

This Shop is in honor of Egypt, a magnificent black Persian cat whose grace and refined taste inspired this studio. With emerald eyes that sparkled like precious gems, she embodied elegance in every moment, from her passion for paper crafting and delicate ribbons to her love of autumn leaves, soft jazz, and the warmth of holiday traditions. Egypt's Papers celebrates her legacy through thoughtfully curated handmade notepads, adhesive pads, and an expanding collection of luxury decoupage keepsakes, stationery accessories. It also features handmade layered junk journals and adornments. Each handmade journal, stationery piece, keepsakes and adornments are crafted with the same sophistication and attention to beauty that defined her spirit. This is more than a shop; it is Egypt's essence preserved in every creation, a testament to a life lived with grace, creativity, and an unwavering appreciation for the finer things.

From initial sketch to final wrap, I bring every piece of our signature pieces to life entirely by hand in our studio. I print each design of stationery on premium 80lb acid-free paper, precision-cut every page, and meticulously hand-glue our stationery pads. I hand-case-bind some of the stationary pieces using a traditional quarter-found with premium book cloth. Every journal and adornment is born from a meticulous process, entirely hand-cut, hand-sewn, and layered with intention. I blend a thoughtfully curated selection of mixed materials and mediums to create rich, delicate textures that tell a story. The decoupage keepsakes are intentionally designed with a story theme in mind for a nostalgic feel. They are meticulously cut, layered, sewn and painted, all by hand. Finally, I elegantly hand-wrap each order, ensuring an exquisite unboxing experience from my hands to yours.
